Thank you to everyone who attended the Palm Bay 2010 Holiday Light Parade. It was a great event with plenty of beautiful floats. Spectators were certainly in the Christmas spirit and showed with force lining Malabar Road.

The Palm Bay Yard Sales float was a scene from “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.” Specifically the float was designed to resemble the inside of the Who’s home, the night of Christmas. Built with a wood structure, the wood was painted and wrapped with garland and lights. On the interior we displayed the Who’s fireplace, Christmas Tree, The Grinch, and of course Cindy Lou Who.

Expect Palm Bay Yard Sales to be at next year’s parade with an even better float.

Please let us know what you thought of our float and what you would suggest for our float next year. We also welcome any pictures you had taken of the parade this year!

I think it seems very disorganized. There are too many spaces between the different entries and it takes over 1 hour 1/2 just to get from San Fillipo to Eldron. I think it just needs to be directed a little better. This is also supposed to be a float, light parade, therefore the people there should be required to dress appropriately and we shouldn't have people running for office there. No one cares about that right then. They just want to enjoy life not worry about all the political crap that is going on.

I had a great time. It was great to see everyone out there. People were telling me that I was the 4th Grinch in line. Funny stuff.
